From the new academic year 2025/2026, HUAJA offers a modified study program Music and Art Interpretation and Creation (HUIT) at all three levels of study (Bc., Mgr. art. and ArtD.), within which the student chooses a specialization in either musical art or literary art.

The study of literature as an art at university level no university in Slovakia has offered till now.

SPECIALIZATION OPTIONS

Possibilities for choosing a specialization in the field of musical art:
− performance (instrument, singing, choir conducting, orchestra conducting) in the field of classical music
− performance (instrument, singing, conducting) in the field of jazz and multi-genre music
− creation (composition, music projects, electro-acoustic composition, etc.) in the field of classical music
− creation (composition, arrangements, music projects, film music, music production, etc.) in the field of jazz and multi-genre music.

Possibilities of choosing a specialization in the field of literary art:
− poetry creation (poetic work – lyrics, song lyrics)
− prose creation (short story, novella, novel and other genres)
− creation for children and youth (children's literature – poetry, prose, dramatic forms)
− dramatic creation (drama, lyrics for musical-dramatic works, melodrama, screenwriting for theatre, film, multimedia genres)
− dramatization and other forms of adaptation / processing of literary works
− artistic performance (interpretation of a literary text)
