International collaboration Ján Albrecht Music and Art Academy (JAMAA) got the state agreement on January 2011 and the first academic year 2011/2012 will be open in October 2011. The representatives (rector, vice-rectors, teachers and the staff) are rich experiences with educational, artistic and scientific activities .Our institution is the new private establishment in Slovak Music Higher Education Area and only one artistic private university. Staff members were active in cooperation with many schools in France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Poland and Finland. There were also important activities and Projects with Universities in USA. As long term collaboration give us hope to continue and develop projects and programs with new ideas and particular music research in jazz area, early music area, performing art and composition.
JAMAA in 2013 has realized in collaboration with the Slovak Sinfonietta (Štátny komorný orchester) Žilina by the financial support of Ministry of Culture an outstanding international project Cirillo-Metodiada, oratorio for speaker, choir and orchestra on the lyrics by Ján Hollý (the author of the oratorio is composer Egon Krák – rector of JAMAA).

JAMAA currently prepare premiere of the composition PILGRIMS, written by rector and composer Egon Krák. Performance takes place in collaboration with Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina, Choir of Slovak Philharmony Bratislava, conductor Rastislav Štúr, choirmaster Jozef Chabroň, reciters: Dušan Jamrich and Štefan Bučko. 03/09/2015, 4:00 p.m., Kostol Nanebovzatia Panny Márie, Banská Štiavnica Project supported by Ministry of Culture.
JAMAA has developed collaboration with a luxurious pension Vila Magnolia in Banska Štiavnica, which also organized artistic events with participation of our students and paedagoges
JAMAA as only one higher education institution in jazz study programmes in Slovakia collaborates with the main promoter of Slovak jazz home and abroad
This is the only orchester of the "mozart type" in Slovakia. The orchester gained an important position not only in Slovakia and Czech republic, but in other countries as well.
