BIOGRAPHY

The Slovak soprano-koloratur Jana Juríčková is a member of the Slovak National
Theatre Opera ensemble. She studied singing at the Academy of Music in
Bratislava in the class of doc. Magdaléna Blahusiakova. While still student, she
began performing as a guest at the National Theatre in Bratislava in the role of
Blonde in Mozart's Die Entfürung aus dem Serail (1999). Since then she has
performed in a number of roles, among them Donizetti 's Norina (Don Pasquale).
Adina (L 'elisir d' amore) and Lucia di Lammermoor, Mozart' Zerlina
DonGiovanni), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), The Qeen of the Night (Die
Zauberflöte), Gilda (Verdi: Rigoletto), Oscar (Verdi: Un Ballo di Maschera),
Zerbinetta (R. Strauss:Ariadne auf Naxos) ... At Brno´s National Theatre she
apeared as a guest in the role of Terinka (Dvořák: Jakobin), Verdi's Gilda, Puccini
s Musetta (La Boheme)., Mozart"s The Qeen of the Night - (this role she
performed in Czek Republic, Japan and Deutschland) In 2010, she has
performed at the National Theatre Opera in Praque as Olympia in Les Contes
'Hoffmann and as Armida in Händel's Rinaldo. She has started to teach voice at
Konservatórium in Bratislava since 2016.
