Nelida Nedelcuț
is university professor with a PhD at National Academy of Music „Gheorghe Dima”, teaching Music Theory and Project Management. She is vice-rector in charge of scientific research in AMGD, President of Excellence Centre for Music Educațion, President of the International Conference Arts and Education, President of Romanian Society for Music Education.

She participated in more than 50 conferences around Europe in the area of education and e-learning and is member of EDEN (European Distance Learning and E-learning Network) and ISME (International Society of Music Education). She received the Ph.D. title in 1997 in music stylistics with thesis Pianistic semiography in Romanian creation of the 20-th century. Her professional and scientific activity includes a number of 10 books and a large number of didactical works, syllabuses published at the MediaMusica Edition. She also published studies and articles in the field of musicology in different publications. She is involved in ODL in education, in introducing new technology in the musical area. Her competence includes a certificate in Training Cultural Management obtained in Germany –Bayreuth and a certificate in Intercultural Management in Adult Education, Maastricht-Holland. She participated in national and international projects like: Phare-Multi Country Cooperation in Distance Education, The Nuce (The New European Continuing Education Network), Eullearn, Vemus (Virtual European Music School), Prelude (Training teachers on ICT), DIMA (Direct Impact Multimedia Application).
